"If we wish to create a lasting peace, we must begin with the children." -Mahatna Gandhi
Kamo's Kids Foundation was established as a non-profit in February 2009 in loving memory of Kameron "Kamo" Thomas Hale (January 18, 1993 - January 23, 2009).
The Foundation is guided by the three main principles that represented Kamo's outlook on life:
"KOURAGE" to do what is right
"KOMMITMENT" to excellence
"KOMPASSION" for others
The Foundation actively works with area organizations, school officials and individuals to help underserved children. Kamo loved and cared about the youth of our community, and it's our desire that his love will live on by helping youth who are suffering and less fortunate. It is our prayer and vision that Kamo's Kids will touch the lives of many who have somehow lost hope.
100% of donations are procees provided to Kamo's Kids Foundation will be directed toward this mission. The Foundation is supported through the collaborative efforts of volunteer directors. The Foundation does not allocate funds for administrative purposes, ensuring that every cent received is placed to work helping children in need. Donations will enable many children to pursue brighter futures than ever imagined.
