FACS Food Pantry at Fountain Lake Charter High School

This morning Ronnie Ritter, Executive Director of Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry delivered 350 pounds of ground venison to the FACS Food Pantry at Fountain Lake Charter High School. Earlier this week, the freezer that is now filled with venison was donated to the pantry by Kamo's Kids. Carrie Haddox Bloomquist, FLCHS Family and Community Science teacher coordinates the distribution of the food filled backpacks. Students in her FCCLA club stock the pantry and fill the backpacks. When benevolent organizations like Kamo's Kids (kamoskids.org) and Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry (Arkansashunters.org) share resources in an effort to make a difference, great things happen!
